• k – knit
• p – purl
• k2tog – knit 2 stitches together
• p2tog – purl 2 stitches together
• tbl – through the back loop
• m1l – make 1 stitch leaning to the left
• m1r – make 1 stitch leaning to the right
• kfb – knit front and back
• pfb – purl front and back
• CO – cast on
• CO – cast off
• BO – bind off ( the same meaning as cast off)
• slkpo or skpo – slip one, knit one, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
• sl – slip one stitch
